An incredibly rare Custom Shop guitar that didn’t have a very long production run. First introduced in 1997 as the first of Gibson’s chambered Les Paul’s, this particular guitar benefits from beautiful Abalone Trapezoid inlays, an AAA quilted Maple top, gold hardware, and a pair of ’57 Classic pickups. The Custom Shop Elegant Les Paul’s are said to be the guitars that offered the very best materials which Gibson had to offer at the time. What’s best, this particular guitar is number #1 of the 400 Custom Shop Elegant Les Paul’s made, making this an incredibly special guitar and great investment piece!
