The Fender Custom Shop does some pretty special things, and with the Custom Shop ’64 Custom Telecaster they push the boundaries of Leo Fender’s vision. An Alder body is finished in a classic heavy relic Aged Black nitro lacquer, period correct, this finish will wear beautifully with time and develop its own character even further. The AA-grade Flame Maple neck has a smooth, vintage feel and an AAA grade Rosewood fingerboard. With a 9.50″ radius and narrow-tall frets, the ’64 Telecaster features a 60 Style C profile; it feels comfortable and robust, just like a vintage Fender should. Loaded with a duo of hand-wound Fender Twisted Tele single coils, you certainly get that famous Tele tone.
